Through the 4-H lens, we will explore hands-on and engaging ways to involve youth (focusing on grades K-5, with ideas adaptable for PreK) in nature exploration, nature based social emotional learning, sensory play, problem solving, and environmental education. This training will be made available online for providers with a presentation/learning session and a culminating “hands-on” activity for providers to try out one of the nature-based lessons. Attendees will also get to learn about educational opportunities available through 4-H including county and state fair experiences and state-wide opportunities.
